This a juried show, not all submissions will be accepted to exhibit in the show.
Gallery Azul presents “Why Do I Care”, an art show seeking to bring attention to the places where Queer identity and culture intersect, informing the issues we care about and the causes we fight for. Who or What matters most to you, and what do you wish other people cared more about? What BIPOC issues do you feel are often overlooked in Queer spaces. What Queer issues do you feel are often overlooked in BIPOC spaces? How can we better cultivate empathy together?
Interested artists submit your 2D or 3D artwork to galleryazul@yahoo.com by August 28th! Please include your name, titles of your artwork, mediums, dimensions, and price in your email. Write ups are optional but encouraged!
E:MAIL submissions to galleryazul@yahoo.com. Submit your images in JPEG format and title each file with your full name and entry number (e.g. Edgar_allan1.jpeg). Please include artwork titles, medium, dimentions, and price in the body of the email.
Sales: A 30% commission will be retained by Gallery Azul from the retail price listed on the entry form. All works exhibiting must be available for purchase.
